Sunshine Foundation - Trump's Conflicts of Interests

What an amazing thing its been watching events unfold and now the Trump, who undertook this race as a ego boost, is thumbing his nose at the White House, and in fact the Office of the President of the United States of American itself.

The disappointment of watching so many falling in line and even more remaining down right oblivious - it dawned on me that he truly is the future. Good bye United States of American and hello Corporation of Amerika, with Trump her CEO having one hell of a party with his pals.

Here I share information from a group, that to borrow their words, is a nonpartisan nonprofit that advocates for open government globally and uses technology to make government more accountable to all. Tough charge, that one is.

As the text of the letter makes clear, continuing on the current course has the potential to devastate public trust in government even further from its current woeful state, provide foreign governments with an obvious means to influence the presidency, and bedevil the White House with lawsuits.

The nature and diversity of the Trump Organization businesses mean that a wide range of government policy has direct impact on those businesses. This includes important domestic matters related to tax policy, standards for government contractors, consumer protection, the functioning of the civil justice system, financial regulation, labor rights and workplace safety and health standards, and bankruptcy law.

Matters of foreign policy are also implicated because of the global reach of the Trump Organization. The American people need to know that when you are making decisions concerning our allies or our adversaries, you are not doing so because they are allies or adversaries of your businesses.

Do We The People of the United States have a right to learn about the full extent of Trump's business entanglements with Russia and China who's businesses are pretty much government run and whom as I recall are life long sworn enemies of the United States?

Before the man is confirmed as President of the United States, before the Electoral College meets!

Mr. Comey, why did you protect and minimize these connections when in reality they are of utmost National Security important? But like so many other things I always thought were important to Americans, it was tossed out with the bath water of hatred towards Hillary and the impotent Democratic Party.

What about the Dworkin Report, please discuss it.

Dear fellow Americans, including Trump voters,

Please look at this man Trump.
His actions show contempt and disinterest in our government.
Offer one piece of contra-evidence!
Voted for Trump? I can comprehend the Trump supporters who want to destroy our government as we know and sweep it out of the way for mega business interests. But has that really become the majority of our country???

Trump doesn't even want to live in America's White House, it's too ordinary for his Gold Gilded tastes. Think about that the next time you're sweeping out your hovel.

And regular struggling Americans voted for such a dangerous destructive mentality? What were Trump supporters voting for anyways? Change, protest, anger, because they were desperate to believe anyone bold enough to make impossible promises? But, to vandalize our government including services and protections you depend on?

A man who sees government as nothing but an impediment to mega multinational corporations and their oligarchs?

I know there are too many typos, what can I say, eyes aren't what they were, I get rushed, and always did have a thing with transposing…{well, I also hated high school "english" classes... bad call that one.}. Doing the best I can with what I got. Embarrassing though it is, it's better than doing nothing. Besides, it's the issues and reasoning that we should be worrying about.

Though I'm in my own little world here, I'm also constantly learning and evolving and do get occasional feedback and when I reread stuff and find errors or omissions or garbage, I fix it. If it's major I'll acknowledge it with an 'edited' note, minor stuff I don't bother.

I hardly keep track of Anthony's latest antics (besides, with Sou on the job why bother - can't beat her insights). It's just me over here and I have more important things to do with my precious hours - still now that Anthony's luster has been wearing thin he's put his energy into discovering and honing new fresh faces to carry on the public show of the Republican/Libertarian strategic attack on science.

He seems to have transitioned into a ring-leader, perhaps mentor/coach would be better, producer? At least that's how Mr. Steele and his antics of the past year has gotten me to think about it. So in that regard this blog remains about WUWT's brand of thinking and logic and my struggle to understand the anatomy of the fraud they've perpetrated against mankind. {December 2014}

This blog was started in April 2013 and is written by an actual scientist so it has a refreshingly serious objective air to it, plus he does a good clear job of explaining complex issues.

Sou has some of the best {readability and detailed} examinations of Watt's antics I've seen - and she does have fun with certain characters.

She continues be the best at keeping up with Mr. Watts' and pals and their many deceptions.

The recent dirty tricks and attacks she is enduring are acknowledgment of how good she is at it.

Then there's RealClimate.org the scientist's commentary site. Run by working climate scientists intended to help the interested public and journalists sort through the complexities of the climatology. They provide "quick response to developing stories and provide the context" that is too often missing from public media's depiction. {But, you better be serious and have some real science education/understanding under your belt if you want to keep up.}
