I though I was through with US election 2016 stuff, but something big has come up. Something that, to me, seems a last opportunity for liberal minded rationalists to, if not stop Trump, at least make it clear that we are aroused and will be watching him very closely. With the constant reminder that the next election is only two years away and his Tea Party support will become vulnerable. That is, if the Democratic Party learns some lessons and changes its ways. Since I get more visits here than at CitizensChallenge, I'm shamelessly reposting in the hope that others might pass on this information.
Rather than protests that merely vent anger, how about some protests with defined grievances and a list of expectations. It's the democratic way.

I’m trying to figure out what to make of: “The Dworkin Report: Evidence Tying Donald Trump to Russia”
On the face of it, it’s an outrage that this sort of information was being kept hidden from the American people, particularly considering the scrutiny Clinton received for what are basically irrelevant emails.
Imagine, FBI Director Comey goes out of his way to make election eve statements regarding innocuous emails, all the while sitting on this relevant information of national importance regarding copious evidence of deep Trump business ties to Russia. It is an outrage against the American Way.
My entire six decades has been lived in the shadow of USA’s fundamental conflict with Russia, and now, FBI Director Comey along with the GOP and America’s once proud Fourth Estate, our media, has played enabler to a Russian Obligate becoming the President of the United States.
There was considerable information available that Donald Trump was lying to the American people as he denied ties to Russia, when in fact those ties are extensive and cozy and quite possibly crossing national security thresholds. It is an outrage.
What’s being done about it?
Is the DNC using its vast fund raising data base to send out information to Americans? We The People deserve to learn about this! Will the DNC ever grow a backbone and stand up for our values, or help inform and encourage us to send letters of protest to our representatives? After all, there is more to winning in politics than throwing money at it.
You see, here I run into trouble, I’ve been checking the internet to see if there’s any buzz about this “Dworkin Report” and Obama’s alleged interest. I come up with a half dozen interesting stories, but to be honest the sources, … what can I say, cheap sidebar adverts for sleazy stories doesn’t do anything for my trust meter.
Thus, I keep waiting for breaking news in the major media. So far nothing. Why? The stories seem founded on verifiable claims, there’s spin involved, but hey where isn’t there - the facts are there. Are they true or not? Let We The People decide how to interpret.
Is the Dworkin Report a fanciful fabrication? Well, the Dworkin Report does provide verifiable facts. Some may argue their significance, that's debatable. But that sidesteps the major question of why Director Comey hid this very relevant information from the American people.
Will those smug late night political comedy shows make it a center stage concern in the next days? When it matters. Before the Electoral College meets.
Will the DNC grow a backbone and fight for what we believe in? While there’s still a window of opportunity to stop this impending free-fall ! ? Trump isn't president yet.
Will the DNC put their vast mailing list to use for something other than fund raising? Besides, if nothing else a strong public outrage at the deceitfulness and Trump's Russian coziness will at least make Trump and his newly empowered cronies understand we are watching.

President Obama Takes Trump Matters Into His Own Hands, Launches Investigation
By Jacob Richardson | November 12, 2016
http://liberalsociety.com/president-obama-takes-trump-matters-into-his-own-hands-launches-this-investigation/
The Obama administration is reviewing the Democratic Coalition’s investigative report highlighting ten “clear links” that the FBI failed to investigate about our President-elect’s business ties to Russia and to the regime of dictator Vladimir Putin’s regime. It’s named “The Dworkin Report.”
“The FBI missed at least 10 key connections between President-elect Trump and Russia when they conducted their investigation and concluded that our President-elect had no links to the country,” said Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Democratic Coalition and author of the report. “It is imperative that the American people be made aware of this information.”
The Dworkin Report shows that Donald Trump has incorporated almost 250 registered businesses in Russia. This hard evidence directly contradicts Trump’s prior statements about having no business ties to Russia over the summer. Additionally, the evidence shows that Trump has traveled to Russia dating back to 1987, before the end of the Soviet Union. In particular, a visit in 2010 included a tour of St. Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum led by a Russian government official of sufficient ranking, that he earned a personal photo and award from Vladimir Putin earlier this year.
The Democratic Coalition also revealed a 2013 video recorded interview with Donald Trump to MSNBC’s Thomas A. Roberts – which he has confirmed as authentic – where he claimed twice to have a relationship with Putin.

Re: Ties Between President-elect Trump and Russia, Contrary to FBI Conclusion Date: November 10, 2016

Dear Mr. President and Democratic Leadership.
Over the past few months the Democratic Coalition has taken extraordinary measures to disseminate the following information to the American public regarding the relationship between President-elect Donald Trump and Russia.
It is incumbent upon myself and our coalition to ensure that you are made fully aware of the ten pieces of evidence that follow. This evidence calls into question the recent conclusion made by the FBI, which stated that there was no clear connection between President-elect Trump and Russia to be found. As you will see, there are many pieces of clear, direct connections between the President-elect, Vladimir Putin, and the country of Russia.
Please note that this is the limited evidence that we have gathered to date, and is by no means a comprehensive report on the President-elect’s relationship with the country.
In solidarity,
Scott J. Dworkin
Co-Founder & Senior Advisor The Democratic Coalition

Not to forget, China's entanglements
Trump’s Empire: A Maze of Debts and Opaque Ties
... As president, Mr. Trump would have substantial sway over monetary and tax policy, as well as the power to make appointments that would directly affect his own financial empire. He would also wield influence over legislative issues that could have a significant impact on his net worth, and would have official dealings with countries in which he has business interests.
Yet The Times’s examination underscored how much of Mr. Trump’s business remains shrouded in mystery. He has declined to disclose his tax returns or allow an independent valuation of his assets.
Earlier in the campaign, Mr. Trump submitted a 104-page federal financial disclosure form. It said his businesses owed at least $315 million to a relatively small group of lenders and listed ties to more than 500 limited liability companies. Though he answered the questions, the form appears to have been designed for candidates with simpler finances than his, and did not require disclosure of portions of his business activities. ...

Thank you, this is a shameful disgrace, a cover up and stitch up by the FBI, who thought it was fine to throw Clinton to the wolves but yes, you are right, acted as an ennabler to someone who has been on the KGB radar since his first visit to Moscow in 1987. Somehow Comey "missed" all this stuff in the Dworkin report? Rubbish. The FBI hates Clinton wanted a President who might do for them what Putin has done for the Russian FSB: raised them to the top levels of government and given them free reign to act as they wish, as long as they stay loyal to Putin. The FBI can only dream of such power. By putting their man in, now they can make it happen in reality. This needs to be shared and shared.
So it comes out two days after the election,,,disgusting!!!
