Why not protest FBI? - Demand Release of Trump's Entanglement Files

For all the protests I read about after Trump’s election, I don’t recall hearing anything indicating that those protests rose above venting, that's a big shame.
What we need is protesting with a determined purpose -
a reasoned legitimate demand.

In front of the FBI and the CIA
and where ever else needed,
to drive home the case that We The People
want the Trump’s Files released!

We The People have a right to learn about
all of Trump’s entanglements !

The following is a collection of the articles I've lifted quotes from, I've also included links to their full stories.  I hope this collection will help inform.  Feel free to copy and pass along.  CC

Dem congressman: Electoral College has 'right' to weigh Russian hacking

By Kyle Cheney 12/10/16

Cicilline appears to be the first member of Congress and the highest-ranking elected official in the country to endorse the notion that electors aren’t simply rubber stamps for their states’ popular vote. Earlier Saturday, he retweeted a Rhode Island-based national security expert who argued that the intelligence community “must brief electoral college about Russia before vote.”

Cicilline’s comments come amid the explosive determination by the U.S. intelligence community that Russia interfered in the presidential election in support of Donald Trump. Trump’s transition team has forcefully denied the conclusion.

“EC exists to protect republic from candidate under foreign influence,” the expert, Salve Regina University researcher Jim Ludes, wrote.

Cicilline stopped short of endorsing that sentiment in his statement to POLITICO. But in a second tweet on Saturday, he urged the White House to publicize information surrounding the CIA’s assessment that Russia intervened in the election to help Trump. “Before the Electoral College votes,” he added. …

Senators Want Investigation Into Russian Election Hacking – 12-11-16

Doug Cunningham | WORKERS INDEPENDENT NEWS

… A bi-partisan group of U.S. Senators say America should be alarmed by Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Senators Chuck Schumer, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Jack Reed called Sunday for an investigation into intelligence agencies’ conclusion that Russian hacking helped Trump defeat Clinton.

Trump continues to build his mad-dog generals and CEO heavy cabinet as Exxon-Mobile CEO Rex Tillerson emerges as the likely new Secretary of State. Tillerson seems to share Trump’s Vladimir Putin fanboy attitude.

In 2013 he got the Order Of Friendship from Putin. Trump often mentioned his admiration for the former KGB Colonel on the campaign trail.

According to the Washington Post the CIA has told key members of Congress that it’s concluded the Russians ran a covert intelligence hacking. operation designed to help Trump win. …

Trump vs. Congress on Russian hacking

The president-elect calls intelligence reports of election meddling ‘ridiculous.’ But prominent senators from both parties disagree.

By Seung Min Kim and Burgess Everett | 12/11/16

Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) issued a joint statement Sunday with the incoming Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer of New York, and top Armed Services Committee Democrat Jack Reed of Rhode Island that Russian interference in the election "should alarm every American." They said Congress must investigate further without allowing it to become a partisan issue.

But in an interview on "Fox News Sunday," Trump again bluntly dismissed reports of Russian meddling, calling them "ridiculous" and an attempt to undermine his victory. …

Mr. Trump responds to CIA report of Russian Hacking  ** UPDATED **

By Lawrence White on December 10, 2016 at 8:05 AM

… Senator McCain who is Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee says he will launch an investigation as he considers the corruption of the election to be “a national security issue.” Senator Graham, who is the chairman on its subcommittee on crime and terrorism, stated he is “going after Russia in every way you can go after Russia.” John McCain has considerable authority to conduct investigations and hold hearings into the hacking and will receive support from many in Congress concerned about the future of our democracy.

Meanwhile The NY Times reports that Carter Page who is a foreign policy adviser to Mr. Trump was back in Moscow on Thursday. Mr. Page would not comment about the purpose of his visit. RIA Novosti the Russian state-run news agency, reported that Mr. Page would stay in Moscow through the first part of this week and would meet with business and “thought leaders.”

Mr. Page was scrutinized by the F.B.I. on suspicion of private communications with senior Russian officials this past the summer.

Obviously this is an evolving story and we will surely be hearing more about it as the inauguration draws near. …

The Russian Hack Cracked?  by Paul Jacob
He could only come up with snarky sarcasm.  Not much of an American patriot if he dismisses all this so flippantly.  Or more likely wrapped in that Alt-reality like Trump.  Have no doubt, this is a matter of national security. -  Paul, wake up, this is for keeps.  We are in the middle of a hostile take-over attempt and the only thing standing between the oligarch’s success or failure is We The People.

Unfortunately, We The People for the most part, don’t seem to appreciate what’s going on.  We are so used to letting others take care of the politics for us.  Remember the old lament, you don’t know what you have till it’s gone.

Right now the government as we established it is under a clear a present danger.  Please become informed, it matters like never before in our life times that you get involved.

How Russian Hackers Can Blackmail Donald Trump—and the GOP

If it is true that the Russians hacked the Republican National Committee as well as the DNC, then their power over POTUS potentially knows few bounds.

… Former and current U.S. national security officials and experts say that if it is true that the Russian government possesses documents belonging to the Republican National Committee, Donald Trump’s incoming administration may be the most compromised in U.S. history.

A senior U.S. administration official confirmed to The Daily Beast that the CIA believes the Russians hacked the RNC. He spoke anonymously because he was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

On Friday, Dec. 9, The New York Times reported that hackers connected to two separate Russian security services allegedly broke into the computer systems of the RNC, but chose not to disclose the digital contents of those systems, in marked contrast to the gradual release, via WikiLeaks, of emails belonging to the Democratic National Committee throughout the spring and summer. …

By Jason Easley on Sat, Dec 10th, 2016 at 8:36 pm

It is finally being said out loud, in public, on national television. America may need to hold a new presidential election after Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump. …

{These are the calls that need to come from We The People with a blizzard of emails and other correspondences to your Representatives demanding Trump's files be released immediately.  I include contact information at the end.}

Ex-CIA Operative Wants an Election Re-Do Amid Reports of Russian Interference

BY Daniel Barna | DEC 10, 2016

Former CIA operative Robert Baer appeared on CNN Saturday, and called for a review of the election amid news that Russia intervened with the goal of helping Donald Trump win. “It looks like to me, the Russians did interfere in our elections,” Baer said.

On Friday, U.S. intelligence revealed with “high confidence” that Moscow interfered with the election via hackers who obtained private emails form both Republicans and Democrats. While Baer said that we’ll “never be able to decide whether they changed the outcome” of the election, he did stress the importance of considering an election re-do.

Is the Kremlin Readying for a Trump Administration?

A data theft involving opposition research on the GOP nominee suggests Russian paranoia could be driving an effort to stay informed on U.S. politics.

By Tom Risen | Staff Writer June 20, 2016

… Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised Donald Trump as "bright" but reported efforts by the Kremlin to steal research about the Republican presidential front-runner indicate to former U.S. officials and spies that its intelligence agencies are preparing for a possible Trump administration.

"They are probably scared of Trump, he's unpredictable," says Bob Baer, a former CIA case officer.

Russian hackers are believed to have breached the networks of the Democratic National Committee and downloaded opposition research collected on the bombastic, controversial candidate. Dmitri Alperovitch, co-founder of cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike says two separate groups of hackers – which are likely to include "actual employees of Russian intelligence agencies" – had access to the data and communications of the committee for nearly a year. Alperovitch analyzed the breach for the DNC and says the past activities of the hackers indicates the involvement of Russia's spy agencies. …

CIA At War With FBI – Over Trump
December 11, 2016

Among other issue, there’s this:

Behind the scenes, there is some very high-stakes poker going on here. Giuliani was clearly taken out of a possible Secretary of State position he has waited for all his life. This was no accident, as Giuliani is as tight with the FBI as he is with his mob-infested family and colleagues.

Now it’s turn for the CIA to start sweating. Again, from The Guardian:

Intelligence figures fear Trump reprisals over assessment of Russia election role
(Excerpts)
“Legislators overseeing the CIA and other intelligence agencies have told the Guardian they will be vigilant about reprisals from Donald Trump over an internal assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to ensure Trump’s victory.

Fears of retaliation rose within US intelligence agencies over a tense weekend that saw Trump publicly dismiss not only the assessment but the basic competence of the intelligence apparatus.

Seems to me another indication of how desperately America needs a vocal and engaged citizenry, why aren’t their protests in front of the FBI and CIA demanding the disclosure of all their Trump files?
